Catholic Education South Australia

School Board

Joining the School Board is a great way to become involved in the life of your child's school.

The Board is responsible for financial management, pastoral care, maintenance, school development and evaluation in partnership with the Principal and staff of the School.

How the School Board Works

School boards are important as they bring together, in a formal setting, the significant parties concerned with the provision of education of young people in a particular school.

This includes the Parish Priest as the President of the board, the school Principal as the Executive Officer of the board, parents as elected members (School Board Nomination Form), staff and parent organisations and other appropriate experts.

If you would like to get involved, please speak with our Principal. Anne will be delighted to answer your questions and give you more information about how you could contribute to the School Board.
