Principal's Message

Dear Parents and Caregivers,

As we come closer to the end of the year (only four weeks to go!), it is probably a good opportunity to reflect on how parents/carers can continue to support their children in finishing their academic year achieving their best effort.

Sports Day 2018

The teachers did a great job in preparing the students for the events, with great organisational support from Cathy Griffin, P.E. Coordinator.  The House Captains and Vice Captains enjoyed...

Parents & Friends

Hi everyone

I hope you and your children enjoyed sports day.  It was a great day and we were very lucky with the weather. Thanks to all the P&F members and other parent helpers on the day who helped make it so successful.

We raised just over $500!

Our last event on the calendar is the Christmas Carols Night on the Friday 7 December.  We will once again be asking for your kind donations for the raffle baskets.  Notes will be distributed in the next few weeks.

Thank you

School AGM & Parent Session on Cyber Safety

School AGM/Parent Information Session on Cyber Safety by the Carly Ryan Foundation

This evening at 6.00 pm the school will be presenting the Annual Report for 2017 to our community.

At 6.30 pm we have been very fortunate to welcome a representative from the Carly Ryan Foundation to discuss cyber safety and how parents can be more aware of how to support their children when accessing online sites, whether it is for games, social media or other.

This is a topic that our school community has asked for more information and it is supported by both our Parents and Friends and School Board groups.

Please contact the school regarding your attendance to assist with our catering for this evening.

A crèche is offered for families for this evening.

Enrol Now 2.png

Do you have a toddler or a child at Kindy? Have you enrolled them yet?

Whilst priority is given to siblings of children already attending Our Lady Queen of Peace, we still require a completed Application for Enrolment form for each and every child.  Places are filling quickly.  All families wishing to enrol their children in Reception for 2019 must lodge a completed Application for Enrolment form as soon as possible.

Note: If your child is born between 1 May & 31 October, he/she is eligible for our Semester 2 intake.  Application for Enrolment forms are available from the School Office.  Contact Ali or Maureen, on 8345 4036 for more information.

Sympathy.jpg

Please keep in your thoughts and prayers Andrea Bishop and her family.  Andrea’s mother passed away yesterday.

God of love, the Bishop family who have known the time for planting, for laughing and for dancing. The joys of happier days can never be taken from them. Let those joys soften the pain of their suffering now. We ask this through Jesus and his mother, Mary. Amen

Please also keep Nicholas Manolaris and his family in your thoughts and prayers for the recent loss of his grandfather.  May he rest in peace.
